How to spot INFPs (Mediators):

INFPs (Mediators) share the Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Prospecting personality traits.

They don’t crave status as much as they want to be seen, heard, and respected for who they are. You may find them expressing creative ideas and advocating for the underdog. However, they can take criticism very personally and may need extra reassurance after tough feedback.

INFPs respond best to leadership that recognizes their individuality, and they respect leaders who take the time to understand their personal values and aspirations. When you can connect with your INFP team members on a more personal level, it often leads to increased engagement, creativity, and overall job satisfaction – all of which have the potential to improve both individual and team performance.

Let’s examine what this means for your leadership style, shall we?

Today, we’ll cover:

  • INFPs’ tendency to respect personalized leadership and meaningful work

  • The workplace impact of INFPs’ deep connection to their personal values

  • One key leadership strategy to help you win the respect of INFPs on your team

  • How your personality shapes the way you think respect should be earned (if you’re an INFP leader)
